This thriving venture in community involvement has significantly improved the quality of life of its human benefactors and its animal beneficiaries. Although the name doesn't say it, project participants also pay lots of attention to the restoration and preservation of native plants. In May 1999 the Atturbury Bird & Animal Sanctuary received national recognition at the Neighborhoods USA Conference in Madison, WI.
Scott Supply Service, Inc. is privileged to be able to encourage and support the efforts of those extraordinary individuals and the neighborhood organization who have donated their time and energy selflessly to the development of the Atturbury Bird & Animal Sanctuary for indigenous plants and animals in Lincoln Regional Park. You can help, too!

The resident native animals welcome appreciative visitors to an inspiring stroll, jog, or wheel-chair ride along the trails of the sanctuary whenever you choose. Call ahead for a docent-conducted tour. Along the way you may want to stop for a picnic at a table in the cool shade of a grove of desert hackberry, or mesquite. You won't mind, will you, if scores of creatures cautiously watch your every move from burrows, holes, tree-tops, thickets, and nests, or just soar safely high overhead?
Trails accommodate mobility vehicles with balloon tires. Sturdy bridges built lovingly by Eagle Scouts facilitate access to "Mickey's Island". For your enjoyment, signs identify native plants and animal abodes. Visit us, soon!
